Tile Fusion

About this game

Tile Fusion is a calm but addictive number puzzle. Every move slides all the tiles on a 4×4 grid in one direction. When two tiles with the same number touch, they fuse into one tile worth double. Fuse 2 and 2 into 4, then 4 and 4 into 8, and keep going until you build a 2048 tile — or go even further.

How to play

1. Swipe (or press an arrow key) to slide every tile on the board in that direction.
2. Two tiles with the same number that collide fuse into one tile with their sum.
3. After each move, a new 2 or 4 tile appears on an empty square.
4. Each fusion adds the new tile's value to your score.
5. The game ends when the board is full and no two neighbouring tiles match.

Controls

Tips

• Pick a corner and keep your biggest tile there. Most strong players use a bottom corner.
• Avoid the direction that would pull your big tile out of its corner. With a bottom-left corner, use left and down most of the time, right when needed, and up only as a last resort.
• Build a chain along the edge: 256, 128, 64, 32… so that one fusion triggers the next.
• Do not chase small fusions in the middle of the board; keep open space instead.
• If you are stuck, a move that creates several fusions at once is usually worth it.
