About this game
Math Sprint is a one-minute mental math challenge. A calculation appears, you pick the right answer from four choices, and the next one comes straight away. The problems start easy and get harder as you solve more of them. Correct answers in a row build a streak bonus, but a wrong answer costs you three precious seconds.
How to play
- Read the calculation in the middle of the screen.
- Tap the correct answer, or press 1, 2, 3 or 4 on your keyboard.
- A correct answer adds points and moves you to the next problem straight away.
- A wrong answer costs 3 seconds and breaks your streak.
- When the 60 seconds run out, your final score is saved if it is a new best.

Tips
- Look at the last digit first. Often only one option can have the right last digit.
- For multiplication, break numbers apart: 7 × 12 is 7 × 10 plus 7 × 2.
- Do not guess wildly. A wrong answer costs more time than a few seconds of thinking.
- Keep a streak going: the bonus grows with every correct answer in a row, up to ten.
- Practise your times tables. They make the middle levels much faster.
